Minot, N.D. – As the MI-6B - Downtown phase of the Mouse River Enhanced Flood Protection Project (MREFPP) continues construction into the fall we are pleased to be meeting milestones through construction.
To complete work required to update critical infrastructure Central Avenue between 4th Street NE and 6th Street NE has been closed for the past 3 months. This work has been completed, and Central Avenue will be opened back up to traffic on Friday, September 26th. The re-opening does not include the streets to the east of 6th Street NE. As more of these roads to the east open notifications to the public will be announced.
There is still active construction within this zone to continue progress on flood control, please use caution and follow all construction signs while traveling through this area.
