Minot, N.D. – A temporary four-way stop will be in place at the intersection of 3rd Street NE and 5th Avenue NE starting on the evening of Tuesday, September 14 while the signals at that intersection are shut down for work. The four-way stop will be in place around 6:00 pm and work is expected to be completed Tuesday evening. The driving public should use caution and pay attention as this work takes place.

This work is part of Phase MI-1 4th Avenue of the Mouse River Enhanced Flood Protection Project (MREFPP). Phase MI-1 4th Avenue includes over 2,250 feet of floodwalls located between just west of Broadway and just east of 3rd Street NE. The project also includes earthen levees on both sides of where the Broadway Bridge connects on the north side of the river, and two removeable closure structures in the flood wall.
