Mouse River Enhanced Flood Protection Project (MREFPP) Announces Temporary Roadway Impacts

Minot, N.D. – As work continues on Phases MI-1, MI-2 and MI-3 of the Mouse River Enhanced Flood Protection Project (MREFPP), several major roadway impacts have been scheduled to start this week. Impacts to 3rd Street NE – The southbound lane of traffic on 3rd Street NE at the 3rd Street NE and 5th Avenue NE intersection, will be detoured to Broadway via 6th Avenue on Tuesday, August 6. The northbound lane will be allowed through this area, flaggers will be directing under reduced speeds. Roadway opening on 4th Avenue NW – The portion of 4th Avenue NW, west of the Broadway intersection, will be open to most traffic flow on Thursday, August 8.
